Rexel UK focuses on delivering products and services in energy efficiency and renewable energy including energy efficient LED lighting, ground source heat pumps, PV solar, PV thermal, EV chargers as well as control & automation solutions such as Rexel Energy Monitoring, lighting and HVAC controls, smart and sub metering and variable speed drives for commercial scale fans and pumps. Rexel UK also provides solutions in Maintenance Repair and Operations (MRO), Security and Communications and a broad range of electrical equipment for home, office or industrial installations such as electric cables, conduits and circuit protection, energy storage and energy conversion equipment.
Rexel is also developing a B2C2B approach with the launch of innovative end-to-end solutions that target the consumer as well as the installer. In October 2014, Rexel UK launched the award-winning Energeasy Solar website, part of a suite of products to make energy management ‘easy’. This global programme, gives both homeowners and installers access to a dedicated online portal where they can calculate the energy generation potential of a rooftop solar installation and receive a five-year production guarantee on solar panels from a range of manufacturers recognised for their quality. Homeowners can also use the platform to calculate how much income they are likely to receive in government subsidies (known as the Feed-in-Tariff) and find reputable installers near them.

The product families today are:
Installation and equipment includes coupling and circuit protection equipment (switches, circuit breakers, meters), energy storage and conversion equipment (transformers, generators), control equipment (industrial automated devices, sensors) as well as blowers, ventilators and compressors.
Cables and conduits that enable the transmission of electricity (raceways, cable trays).
Lighting includes halogen, fluorescent and LED bulbs, and lighting systems (interior and exterior).
Security and communications includes equipment for the transmission of voice, data and image (VDI), and detection devices (intrusion, fire).
Climate control includes heating, ventilation and air-conditioning devices and systems, and renewable energy equipment.
White and brown goods includes household appliances (eg, washing machines) sold as a by-product in parallel to new installations/ renovations (especially in remote rural areas).
Tools includes hand tools (screwdrivers, hammers etc) and portable equipment (drilling machines). While not a core activity, it affords convenience to the clients as they do need to order from elsewhere.
